    Hawk’s HPS 5.0 pad is an updated compound based on their popular HPS pads. They produce less dust and noise than Aston Martin’s OEM Pagid pads but can still handle track duty in cars with the larger 380mm brake rotors. These are a great brake pad for people that drive aggressively, and for people that do track days and don’t want to bother with dedicated track pads.

    They do have more brake dust than the Porterfield R4-S but I think it’s a reasonable amount, and the Hawk HPS 5.0 pads can handle abuse beyond the capabilities of the Porterfield R4-S. With proper installation and bedding-in, the HPS 5.0 does not squeal.

  • Intake Manifold Badge

    These Aston Martin intake manifold badges look just like the wings badges for the hood and trunk, but smaller. They have a self-adhesive back so they can be stuck to just about any flat surface. For example, my buddy Dan had one fixed to the ski slope of his V8 Vantage S as a little extra touch for his interior, which I thought was a fantastic idea – check out the picture in the product images.

  • Lamy Pen

    Aston Martin added a neat little pen to the cockpit of the V8 Vantage when it was updated for the 2008 model year. Unfortunately, that pen often goes missing and leaves a hole in the console. It also makes a great gift!

    This is an OEM item from Aston Martin. It is a short pen with a chrome finish and has the Aston Martin logo etched into it.

  • LED Map Lights

    A quick and easy way to update the interior of an early Aston Martin DB9 or V8 Vantage is to replace the dim yellow map lights with these bright white ones. They’re a direct replacement for the original bulbs. Check out my DIY Guide if you want to install them yourself.

  • Motul 8100 X-Max 0w40 engine oil

    Motul makes some awesome fluids, and their engine oil is a great alternative to the OEM oil. It’s fully-synthetic and meets or beats all factory requirements.

    This engine oil is suitable for Aston Martin’s naturally-aspirated 5.9L V12 and AMG-based 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engines that require 0w40 engine oil. It is not suitable for the naturally-aspirated 4.3L or 4.7L V8 engines that require 10w60 engine oil.

  • Motul 8100 X-Power 10w60 engine oil

    Motul makes some awesome fluids, and their engine oil is a great alternative to the OEM oil. It’s fully-synthetic and meets or beats all factory requirements.

  • Motul brake fluid

    This Motul alternative costs about 1/3 the price, making it another way to help keep Aston Martin ownership costs down. If you do the job yourself, you’ll save even more. The bottles for both Motul Gear 300 and Castrol BOT270A have an extending nozzle, so you can fill your gearbox without a pump!

    Sold in 1L bottles.

    This gear oil is suitable for manual and Sportshift transmissions. It is not automatic transmission fluid (ATF) and should not be used in automatic transmissions.

  • Motul Specific-5122 0w20 engine oil

  • N420 Styling Package

    The N420 V8 Vantage came with a carbon fiber front lip and rear diffuser to set it apart from the standard V8 Vantage. The lip protrudes further than the standard plastic one but is still subtle, adding a nice touch to the front of the car. The rear diffuser is far more obvious and more aggressive than the standard grey plastic diffuser blade.

    Fitment is for the “pre-facelift” V8 Vantage made from 2005-2011. This will not fit a car with the updated front and rear bumpers.

  • O2 Sensor, Downstream

    Downstream O2 sensor (AKA, CMS sensor) for most Gaydon-era Aston Martins (DB9, DBS, V8 Vantage, V12 Vantage, Rapide, etc).

    This is the threaded adapter that the oil filter screws onto. On rare occasions, the oil filter and oil filter can get stuck together and won’t come apart. If that happens, the adapter will come out of the engine so the oil filter can still be removed without damaging the engine. But, it also means the adapter may need to be replaced.
