Aston Installations’ famous Infotainment Upgrade Kit adds Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to your Aston Martin! Not only does it add that functionality, this kit also includes an HD screen with a huge improvement in resolution over the factory screen!
These kits are designed to work with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The modules handle either one, so you don’t have to choose based on the type of phone you have. When you install the kit, use whatever phone charging cable you prefer (that is rated to handle Apple CarPlay or Android Auto) and the modules will do the rest.

Product Information
This product contains the Infotainment Kit to add Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to your Aston Martin. It works with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto by automatically detecting which type of phone is connected. The Infotainment Kit is incorporated into an HD screen, which is retrofit to the original factory navigation screen unit. The HD screen upgrade is required for cars with Volvo-based navigation systems and this product cannot be ordered without the HD screen.
Everything needed for installation is included, and installation is easy enough that most people can install it on their own. However, installation should be left to a professional to ensure no damage is done to the car, its components, or this product.
Requirements
The factory navigation system is required to use this product.
Minimal cutting or drilling is needed for installation, please refer to installation instructions for more details.
The factory nav screen unit must be shipped to England for the HD screen upgrade (read Shipping below).
Considerations
The controller and a few buttons/switches need to be mounted in the car. Think about where you want to mount them before committing to installation.
The charge cable will only provide 1 amp to your phone. This means that although it can charge your phone, it will only keep the power level about steady when using power-hungry apps like streaming music and navigation on your phone. If you plug your phone into a normal charge cable, you can get a full 2A charge, stream music over Bluetooth to the car’s sound system, and use apps on your phone. However, you won’t be able to use the Apple CarPlay or Android Auto system on the car’s nav screen until you’ve plugged it back in to that cord.
The factory nav screen unit must be shipped to England for the HD screen upgrade (read Shipping below). Expect the cost of this to be $100-150 in addition to the shipping cost charged during checkout. Although the nav screen will be missing from the car during this process, the car will still be completely drivable and function as normal (except for the obviously-missing nav screen).
Shipping
This product will ship directly from the manufacturer to the customer. This is a special order item. Please allow extra time for delivery.
Your original screen unit will need to be sent back to replace the HD screen unit that is received.
