PCV Valve (V8)

The positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve can sometimes go bad on the V8 Vantage. You’ll know if that’s the case because it will make a buzzing sound. It’s easy to check if the PCV is causing that buzz by simply pushing down on the center of it with your finger – if the buzz goes away or changes while putting pressure on it, then the PCV is causing the buzz and needs to be replaced.

Replacing the PCV valve is an easy job that only requires a couple basic tools.
